Company mission

To create an impact in professional sports.

Our take

Bolt6 is a UK-based software development team that aims to improve the sporting experience for audiences and players through tech innovations. From fan engagement to commercial performance, Bolt6 use camera technology and data analysis to assist in improving everything from VAR-type technologies to better-quality video footage.

With members of the team having won Emmys, and clients including NASCAR and Fox Sports, many of Bolt6’s heads were employees of Hawk eye Innovations, a similar visual data company specialising in optical tracking, vision processing, video review, and creative graphic technologies.

Bolt6 has clearly utilised the insights from its leadership team’s previous employer and it’s unclear how the new company, founded in 2021 differs significantly from its predecessor. Regardless, Bolt6 has high hopes and plans to become a $500 million valued business by 2026
