Our take

According to The Money Charity, 46% of households in the UK have less than £1500 in savings, with many having nothing saved at all. With the assumption that major lifestyle changes are needed in order to start saving, many people are put off it all-together.

Fintech startup, Bondsmith aims to change this through its suite of cash management and savings solutions. Since it's launch the company has made several advantageous partnerships - such as its partnership with Emma which enables its customers to generate interest on cash deposits.

Bondsmith is backed by the wealthtech unicorn FNZ, a sign of confidence in the growing company. Bondsmith's treasury services advise on over £3 billion in deposits, including several FNZ customers. As a principal member of Visa, the company is set to expand its embedded banking services as it sets out to increase its market share within the wealth management industry.
