Our take
PropTech startup, Boomin, is a property portal that focuses on showing you what other property sites can't. Their MatchMaker service helps buyers connect with homeowners who aren’t yet on the market, facilitating the process of buying, selling, or renting out properties while creating new opportunities for agents.
Alongside their matchmaking service, Boomin aims to tackle the issue of highly inaccurate valuation systems. SmartVal, their online valuation tool, integrates proprietary technology, data, and the expertise of local agents to provide customers with a valutaion within 15 minutes. A tool which Boomin believes will help to differentiate itself from Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.
With a focus on making people feel good about everything property, Boomin aims to target the next generation of homeowners and redefine what is typically a stressful and competitive process.
