Company mission

Bother's mission is to save people and the planet from the inefficiencies of household shopping. Bother helps the customer save time, money, carbon and waste with each purchase.

Our take

The average UK household spends over 18 hours every month on grocery shopping. In addition, travel (not including flights) is the largest carbon footprint in the average UK home, and 19% of that is journeying to and from the shops. Bother want to make a proactive long-term impact on the way we all shop.

In line with their slogan, "We Bother, so you don't have to”, Bother delivers the annoying-to-carry, bulky but necessary stuff, from toilet rolls to teabags, in a way that saves everyone time and money with the added benefits of free delivery and no subscription.

Their technology learns with each shop and predicts how often a customer uses a product at home to prevent them from running out. In addition, the company is committed to helping the environment by minimising packaging, offering eco alternatives and cutting customer’s carbon emissions (around 2.5% carbon emission reduction for the average home).
