Brandbassador believes that word-of-mouth advertising is the most effective marketing strategy. The startup aims to help brands automate word-of-mouth marketing by allowing them to reward their 'ambassadors' - e.g. customers and followers.

Brandbassador's platform uses technology to allow brands to increase customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value by providing its loyal customers with cash, gift cards, and free products aimed to build excitement about brands and their products.

The company was founded in 2015 and it has hundreds of thousands of "brandbassadors" signed up on its platform. The company has countless brands among its clients, including Deal of Sweden, PopSockets, MVMT Watches and Daniel Wellington.
