Accounting teams are often burdened with manual tasks and outdated technology. Briefcase wants to automate many of these processes to save accountants hundreds of hours of work every week and reduce human error margins.
From automated data entry to machine learning for categorising transactions, Briefcase has real potential to help accounting teams boost productivity. Also, the platform integrates with pre-existing accounting software such as Intuit Quickbooks, Xero and Sage, allowing the company to target the many existing customers of those tools.
Though it's still in its early days, Briefcase has experienced founders suggesting we can expect good things in its future. As its yet to launch publicly, time will have to tell how the industry responds to this up-and-coming product.
