This is the only place I have ever worked that puts people first, our clients and our teammates. I believe what I do makes a true difference in people's lives, and I have the flexibility to focus on my family when needed.

The mission of the company makes everything I spend my time doing feeling valuable. We get to improve the financial lives of those who need it most.

I don't feel like I have to sacrifice family for work or vice versa. I am able to flex my schedule and take care of my little one as long as I get the job done.

Brightside is very generous in support of my mental health & wellbeing. We have lots of PTO time and are encouraged to use it! Last month I was able to take a "me" day to relax after a very busy month with work.

I love working for Brightside because my work is helping change people's lives! I help the underserved population; those that would not likely ever afford financial assistance from a professional. I am grateful to impact clients with getting back on track with their financial goals.

When I joined Brightside I wanted to make sure that precious time with my family wasn't sacrificed. Since I work 100% remote, I am able to balance appointments with my clients while also making sure my kids start their homework after school! Perfect balance! We also have a #raisingkids slack channel where we connect as parents and even share cute photos!

We strive to help each other learn, grown and embody our core cultural philosophy.

Many of the clients we serve are not aware of programs & services available to them that can help to drastically improve their living situations. The education and resources that we are able to offer our clients are incredibly impactful to their lives. Given the current state of our nation, it is empowering & uplifting to work with people, especially those in marginalized communities, without adequate resources for survival in some cases. The service we provide here at Brightside goes beyond just providing help and allows us to provide people with hope in some cases.

I joined Brightside because of the mission, to improve the financial health of working families. Having worked in the financial industry for the past 11 years of my career, I recognize how complex and difficult it is to navigate and was able to experience first hand just how much people need help with even just education on how financial products work & can benefit them and their individual situations. I find inspiration in being able to provide that help to the people & families that we serve daily here at Brightside.

Since I have started working for Brightside we have partnered with two new companies and have grown from 12 Financial Assistants to over 60 and continue to raise that number. We also continue to open the doors for more and more roles as we grow. Our mission, I believe, is one that many people are seeing can do so much good, in so many different ways. It is incredible to be apart of a company that values as well as embraces change & fearlessly strives to do the work that nobody else is doing at a time when it is truly needed in our country.
