Butter is on a mission to build the most powerful and delightful platform for remotely facilitated collaborative sessions.
The team behind Butter aim to own the future of remote workshop collaboration by building an all-in-one workshop video app for online workshops and courses. Their goal is to bridge the pros of going digital with the flow and energy of physical workshops.
By initially positioning themselves as laser focused on workshops, the idea is to pull people away from using more generic tools, such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, which, arguably, aren’t well suited to workshops. The founders have drawn on their experience in facilitating hundreds of workshops from their past careers in strategy consulting and design agencies to shape the company.
Founded in 2020, Butter is banking on the growth of the billion-dollar software collaboration market. Butter’s growth was further accelerated as the pandemic pushed companies to host workshops and events remotely – a trend that the company expects will continue in the future.
