Our take
CGI content creation continues to advance and further its demand, meaning more and more artists and skilled professionals are needed to complete these works. CGHero is a platform that acts as a talent hub for the CG Artists (also known as Heroes).
The product is simple in that clients come to the platform and use a four step project creation process to determine what softwares and skills are needed. CGHero takes over from there, outsourcing designers and overseeing the project moving forward, including the administration that comes with hiring through the platform. Essentially, CGHero is a marketplace for CG artists and studios.
The company has had a steady upward trajectory since founding in 2016. The most recent funding injection is said to be going toward significant expansion of its Manchester team, with plans to further expand its operations into the US. If it continues to uphold its impressive reputation and usage, it could certainly become the go-to platform for CG artists and studios worldwide.
