I found myself wanting to tick on more than 3 of the options listed on Otta's previous screen... on the XD team we have a very clear progression line from Associate / Junior to Creative Director. I myself have progressed from Senior to Lead over the last year and can vouch for the fact that we are 1000% supported by management to grow in our knowledge and leadership & responsibilities.

We have some processes we follow (atomic design, agile / scrum methodology etc)...but overall, the idea is that we get to the best solution in the most effective ways possible. With the merger (CI&T and Somo) we have even MORE autonomy to work together and contribute to projects in a way which works for each individual, but also, what works best for the teams. It's a great balance. A pro-active approach is essential and rewarded here.

I'm here because of my team leads. Intelligent, effective leadership is everything - I feel fully supported and have grown in my role over the last two years BECAUSE of this (and I endeavour to offer the same level of leadership to the team members whom I line manage too!)

At Somo, there is a lot of transparency when we talk about every single aspect of work, from somebody making an incredible work to post mortem exercises to identify what areas of improvement we do have.

I love what I do and varies from day to day. Somo have a start up feel with a backing of a corporation, which makes life flexible and meaningful. The work that we do is crucial for our clients to grow and attract customers so it makes life quite lively.

Since day one, I was embraced as part of the team in my function. I was given ownership and responsibility shortly after I finished my induction and the team always asks if I need support whcih makes the team spirit alive. And the collaboration level with in the team is also amazing so I can say we have high energy team members.

Somo are super-flexible with remote and hybrid working arrangements to accommodate family life - they just get it! There's been many times when I've needed to jump off to deal with family at home - its never been a problem!

The leadership team at Somo are second to none. There are no managers - just leaders who care deeply about the clients and colleagues they work with and thrive in seeing people do their very best work and being rewarded for it.
