I have to manage my role and taking care of my children, and have never felt that my job has come in the way of this. CONNECT are very understanding when I have commitments and support working around them.

We are a remote first company. We do have contracts with co-working spaces where some people meet if/when they want to. We're also quite flexible with work schedules and have had colleagues working in different time zones for short periods of time.

Knowing that what we're building has the power to help patients who have little help is really rewarding. We help patients with their medication and give them a way to be heard by their clinical team.

Our team is composed by people from diverse backgrounds. Not just diverse in terms of where they were born but also on what perspectives they bring to the team. Most of us didn't have a traditional academic and professional background but somehow found our way to this team, where our abilities are valued and used.

My role at CONNECT Care has grown consistently; I have the opportunity to continue to learn new skills and to grow alongside the company. A diverse team brings together different backgrounds and abilities, and everyone is always happy to share their experiences with others.

I used to struggle with work before CONNECT Care in the sense that I felt like previous companies didn't contribute to society in any meaningful way. Now I know--and see-that we are making an important difference in the everyday lives of countless people.

CONNECT Care hires the type of people you want to know--at or outside of work--because they all bring interesting, diverse backgrounds and experiences to the table. Group tasks are a pleasure, not a burden.

In the first 4 weeks of starting to work for CONNECT Care I got the opportunity to learn the code base from amazing developers and also give my feedback on working with it. All my feedback was sincerely listened to and taken onboard. Having this as a foundation to the team was not only very welcoming but also incredibly rewarding.

From my first day everyone at CONNECT Care have been incredibly welcoming. I feel like I have been working with the team for months not weeks. Everyone is so warm and kind. Having spent a team day together only strengthens my point on how nice everyone is.

Having 2 young children and needing to do school runs in the middle of the day, or having poorly ones at home, CONNECT Care have been incredibly understanding and allow an amazing amount of flexibility.

There is always an opportunity to learn new skills and take on a different type of project depending what you want to focus on. The senior developers are excellent at mentoring and supporting you in your development.

The company is very flexible and it's very easy to fit your workload around your life in a way that maximises both. I personally love working here because I am able to work extra hours in the periods of time that suit me, and take time off easily if I need it.

The work that we do is not only interesting and challenging, but also provides a deep sense of fulfillment because of the benefit our service users derive from the products we build.
