Company mission

To give people the confidence to make the most of medicines by making medicines easier for patients & the people who care for them.

Our take

Healthcare tech infrastructure is rapidly growing, but not at an even pace. With digitisation accelerating, many health providers are shying away from solving more complicated cases in which patients with complex care needs are being left behind. With up to 50% of patients struggling to take their medication, they are being under-supported and the problem is often forgotten about until it's too late.

The digital healthcare future isn't inclusive - CONNECT Care wants to tackle that. By using digital tools and insights, it offers to help patients have the confidence they need to take their medication comfortably. It does this in a range of ways, from empowering patients to manage, understand and take their medicines, to providing aid to the people who care for them to make more informed decisions for proactive support.

Funded by Innovate UK, the UK's official innovation agency, CONNECT Care has used capital gained to help produce a dashboard that allows patients, their carers, and clinicians to stay connected, and offers more independence for patients. With more plans to further expand existing technology across health and social care over the coming year, the future looks promising for CONNECT Care.
