Cajoo's mission is to revolutionize everyday grocery shopping by delivering products from local supermarkets to customers in under 15 minutes.
104% employee growth in 12 months
Last-mile delivery is rapidly becoming the new normal for takeaway food ordering in Europe, but grocery deliveries are yet to see the same levels of adoption. One of the key reasons for this is that grocery stores in Europe currently lack the infrastructure to provide grocery deliveries rapidly, often making it quicker and more convenient for customers to shop in-store.
Cajoo provides a grocery delivery service via a smartphone app, allowing users to browse grocery stores and food items, create a virtual basket, and receive their grocery shopping delivery in under 15 minutes. The service is currently only available in France but plans to expand to other European countries after its recent partnership with Carrefour.
Whilst grocery delivery services in Europe have existed for many years, waiting lists and a lack of sufficient infrastructure have prevented last-mile grocery deliveries from taking off. However, Cajoo’s approach of providing a mobile application that is easy to use, specifically designed for groceries, and combined with a robust localized delivery network shows great potential for this to change.
