Our take
Calimero Network is a blockchain infrastructure company that builds private sharding technology, which allows the creation of blockchain on private subnets that can exchange data while protecting sensitive information.
While the company is currently focused on Near protocol - given it’s the foundation on which its built - it is working towards building out to work with any blockchain that can operate using the Ethereum Virtual Machine via Aurora Labs‘ Aurora.
It will use recent seed funding, led by Khosla Ventures, Lyrik Ventures and the Near foundation, to expand its business reach to continue to meet its goal of building the future of Web3 privacy.
