Callypso's mission is to become the revenue acceleration platform for account managers.
Sales software gets a lot of airtime these days, but all these tech startups have been overlooking an equally, if not more crucial area of sales: post-sales account management. Callypso is an upcoming platform targeting just that, drawing together all customer account data onto a single responsive platform that will produce action prompts that the manager can use to maximise sales from cross-selling, upselling, and renewals. From there, the hope is to build the platform out with further task automation.
For now, however, the fledgling company is driving at the far simpler task of simply replacing the cumbersome spreadsheets still used by some managers. It’s a simple concept, but this kind of digital transformation has seen runaway success across sectors like real estate, retail, and ecommerce where legacy practices still need to be ironed out.
Existing platforms like Clientsuccess and Gainsight do in fact integrate the same upselling, cros-selling, and renewals prompting features as part of their broader sales platform. So the edge for Callypso is truly that it caters exclusively to account managers.
