Despite this, the process is irreplaceable for investment managers, showing the need and demand for an accurate and robust financial data platform.
Canalyst provides a data platform for investment managers, offering over 4,000 financial models containing all necessary KPIs for smart investment decisions. The data models are built and updated by over 100 researchers, provided as APIs or within a consistently-structured dashboard, ultimately facilitating the streamlining of research, idea generation, and analysis.
Whilst the KPI data required to generate the models that Canalyst does is generally publicly accessible, this can be a minefield of out-of-date and inconsistently formatted data, a challenge that Canalyst is directly tackling. By curating data from research experts and formatting it in a robust, uniform, and consistent manner, the company saves its clients time modeling and analyzing data, and ultimately help them gain a competitive edge.
