Our take
Cancer Awareness Trust is a UK-based charity setting out to change the way the world deals with cancer. At its core, it believes that giving people the right information and support at the right time can truly change lives and in a world where cancer touches so many, that kind of knowledge and care is a very powerful thing.
And it works like a modern tech startup, but with the values of a charity. It's behind two powerful projects: Cancer Platform, a free digital tool that will give people access to expert guidance and services at every stage of their cancer journey; and Evamore Music, a creative project that brings musicians together to raise awareness, tell real stories, and help fund the Platform. With this kind of impact and collaboration, Cancer Awareness Trust is really rewriting the playbook on cancer support.

(Co-Founder)One of the world’s leading biotech entrepreneurs and scientists, Prof. Sir Chris has spent 37+ years at the forefront of his trade, turning scientific discoveries into products and services that have directly benefited the lives of millions of people around the world. He was the youngest scientist to be knighted for services to bioscience, enterprise and advisory roles to the UK and global governments. In 2018, he founded the cancer drug development company, Ellipses Pharma.

(Co-Founder)In 2015 David founded the Seerave Foundation. Seerave’s mission is to act as a catalyst between institutions across borders and disciplines and accelerate research into the relationship between the human immune system, cancer and dysbiosis in the Microbiome.
