Our take
The lending market does not effectively meet the needs of SMEs, proposing short-term, unfitting solutions with high rates and high fees. Further, accountants’ role in the ecosystems is to offer guidance to enterprises looking for funding to grow and make sure they’re ready for this step. The goal for Capitalise is to provide accountants with access to more choices and better tools to facilitate the provision of effective advice.
The company uses its in-house technology and data analytics to compare financing options for businesses in the UK. Capitalise is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and its partnering lenders include PKF, Farnell Clarke, Armstrong Watson and BluSky.
The accounting and advisor community are key to enacting the changes needed to enable small and medium sized businesses’ to grow and consequently contribute towards the prosperity of UK’s dynamic economy. Going forward, Capitalise will continue to work to support this and contribute to improve the efficacy of SME’s funding.
