To build a brighter, more decentralized future.
There are some major concerns regarding centralized social networks. Users are the product and not the customer, making them susceptible to manipulation on interests such as voting behaviour, with these networks also fairly easy to hack.
Decentralized alternatives, such as Capsule, are not owned by major companies, and so don't have shareholders whose interests might not be aligned with those of users. They also don't store large amounts of data and are not so easy to hack. Capsule is aiming to provide exceptional user experiences, quality, performance, ease of use and high-quality engineering that draws on advanced technologies.
Capsule's prototype product, Blogchain, went live in 2022. The company plans to use recent funding to reach new customers, develop an app, and is focusing on broadening its engineering capabilities.
