Carats & Cake delivers an operating system for events, providing a full suite of purpose-built marketing and sales tools as well as customer conversion solutions (contracting, invoicing, and payments).
Originally started purely to help couples find the best spaces and companies to help plan their weddings, Carats & Cake's service has pivoted to offer a buy-now-pay-later model. This has proven hugely popular as it helps to spread the costs of events for consumers, whilst venues are paid in full at the time of the first instalment.
It follows on the heels of a number of companies offering this type of payment model, but is the first company to operate this way in the events space. 53% of Carats & Cake's consumer payments have utilised the BNPL model (across different event types). It’s leading the change of $100 billion industry, and looks set to keep growing.
