Our take

Access to healthcare has long been a persistent issue in the US, prompting the emergence of numerous digital health startups aiming to tackle the multitude of challenges. However, many of these startups tend to focus on similar areas, failing to address the broader spectrum of healthcare needs. Caraway, however, seeks to capitalize on this gap and offer a distinct approach.

Caraway stands out as a digital health startup that specifically caters to Gen Z women by providing them with 24/7 access to physical and mental health resources. The platform integrates a range of healthcare services, offering doctor's and nurse's constant availability for text chats and calls. Additionally, Caraway equips its customers with tools to manage and address their mental and physical health concerns between appointments.

Despite a decline in venture capital investments in the digital health sector, Caraway has managed to achieve success and recently concluded a funding round. With the capital raised, the startup is determined to expand its services and extend its reach to a larger population across the country, thereby making a meaningful impact on improving access to healthcare resources for individuals in need.
