Our take

Due to the rapid acceleration of AI-generated content, problematic material such as deep fakes have become a pressing issue. Whilst platforms that upload user-made content are responsible for moderation, these processes of taking down fake videos and pictures can take too long, the damage being done and the images spreading before the content has been deleted.

Ceartas gives the power back to the content creators and organisations using these platforms. Its copyright, anti-piracy and privacy protection software helps its customers ensure their videos are controlled only by themselves. Ceartas has notably partnered with Onlyfans to ensure that its content creators are not subjected to piracy or deepfakes. The AI-powered software can remove and de-index unwanted video uploads, monitor reuploads that have previously been deleted and provide real-time insights into copyright-infringing websites. Ultimately, the manual work these processes would entail is automated and damage control is initiated before damage is even done.

With varying subscription rates that scale from large organisations to independent content creators, Ceartas’s one-of-a-kind software has real potential to protect its clients. With great publicity already and several modest rounds of funding behind it, it’ll be interesting to see how Ceartas further develops its vital software.
