To make today more fun than yesterday.
Letters have mainly moved onto emails but greeting cards have stood their ground. Many people still enjoy the community and connection that they foster. In fact, the market is continuing to grow as it becomes more popular to mark celebrations with a traditional card.
Central 23 is a greeting card company looking to add a little fun to the market. It sets itself apart with a strong focus on sustainability, creating its products with FSC-certified materials and printing digitally. This environmental focus will help it compete with e-card competitors like MoonPig and Paperless Post.
The company initially sold a single card to Urban Outfitters and has now grown to sell products (including multipacks and gift wraps) to over 5000 stores globally. It's also become a sister company to Lucky Egg, a party game company, and both businesses are helping the other develop and bring more fun to consumers.

At Central 23, no two days are the same. I love that we get to work on exciting new projects that challenge me and learn. I also started creating social media content 3 months into my role, which was a challenge at first but it meant that I learnt so much and I've now learnt a new skill!
