Chainkemists' mission is to create blockchain protocol-driven games that LAST FOREVER.
Our take
Blockchain technology has an enormous range of potential use cases in the future, but one such use case which is already driving new industries is gaming. The idea of blockchain gaming envisions metaverse gaming environments that are community owned and governed, open-source, and contain thriving economies, yet the current state of blockchain games mostly consists of lazy NFT cash-grab games.
Chainkemists develops blockchain-based video games, aiming to meet the expectations of blockchain gaming enthusiasts with open-source, composable, resilient, and community-governed games that last forever. The company holds a particular focus on this last point, aiming to develop games with a communal infrastructure that prevents the game from ever becoming stagnant.
Whilst many blockchain game studios have appeared in the last couple of years, Chainkemists has been smart to recognise that gamers want more than basic NFT trading games and lazy cash-and-grabs, instead focussing on developing truly innovative and timeless gaming experiences. The company is currently in stealth mode but aims to announce its first gaming title in the near future.
