Company mission
Procurement is often a complicated and inefficient process. Cimple's mission is to create a single solution for buyers and suppliers to use. Cimple is a new marketplace solution aiming to improve how Governments and businesses work together. Our target is to drive savings for the Government and create value for Small & Medium Businesses globally enabling vast social impacts to be achieved out of c.£280bn in the UK, €2tn in Europe and $13tn globally that Governments spend.
Our take
Fresh off the bat from Innovate UK grant funding in December 2022, Cimple is developing a marketplace with automated price comparison features to help a versatile range of industries procure goods at a better value.
Many procurement companies focus on a single industry, but Cimple stands out through its one size fits all platform, allowing public and private sector businesses to scale it to their services. Cimple is also aiming to not only serve the buyer, but the supplier too, simplifying the public sector bidding process for them and promoting an ethos of market accessibility and better visibility for small businesses.
Whilst the platform is still in the demo phase, the small team behind Cimple has a track record of scaling start-ups together, placing them in a good position to acquire funding and power the company's growth.
