Our take

When Adrian and Charlie met in 2018, combining their experience working with young adults and working with large tech companies respectively, the idea for Circl was born. It aims to create a new type of leadership: leaders who look, act, and are different.

Circl's Leadership Development Programme takes professionals from some of the most dynamic businesses and trains them in coaching skills, alongside young adults coming from underrepresented backgrounds.

This means that employees undergoing the course learn to coach with diverse young talent and real-life experience, thus providing opportunities for young future leaders as well as developing themselves. For companies, Circl's coaching helps build workforces that lead themselves, giving employees the skills they need to be more effective leaders.

Circl simultaneously builds coaching skills in current and future leaders, combining effective training with real social impact. This successful model has led Circl to help large companies such as Google, Meta, Innocent and Uber build their leaders' skills.
