Our take

The United States political ecosystem features some of the most sophisticated analytics operations in the world. However, most of these data-focused efforts are funded by, and work for, groups on either side of the political spectrum, leaving non-partisan, bridge-building efforts data-impoverished.

Citizen Data hopes to change that state of affairs with its own sophisticated data analytics setup orientated purely towards serving the public good. It works directly in close partnership with on-the-ground non-partisan organizations, helping them to take their impact to the next level.

With a range of tools that can help users find their supporters, understand public opinion, predict outcomes and more, the company is now a comprehensive option for organizations to meet their data needs. Funds raised in 2022 have been used to spearhead its latest phase of expansion, as well as accelerate product development.
