To change the way humans interact with machines, and better understand the human brain and neurological disorders.
60% employee growth in 12 months
Brain-computer interfaces are attracting increasing research and media attention due to their potential to help understand the human brain and harness the technology to treat neurological disorders. Current strategies often involve implanting invasive electrodes into the brain to access neural signals. CoMind are creating non-invasive brain-computer interface hardware and software to communicate with the human brain.
The company are initially focusing on augmenting the neocortex with AI, the area of the brain responsible for brain functions such as sensory perception, cognition, motor commands and language, with the aim of improving human cognition and vision. To achieve this, CoMind are building a new form of neural imaging technology coupled with advanced machine learning techniques. If their technology works, it could have a wide range of exciting applications in research and clinical settings.
CoMind's plans for the future include a continuation of the research and development into their technology. This will be realised by technological developments and the hire of relevant staff to produce results.
