To make it easy to create a stylish home in a conscious way.
Our take
COAT is a premium paint brand for a new generation of decorators. The current leaders in paint products lack simplicity with too many complicated choices and, crucially, environmentally damaging products.
To remedy this, COAT offers just three products and does so with conscience. The certified B Corp offers eco-formulations, recycled packaging, sustainable logistics, operations and eco-accessories. This effort means it is currently carbon offset.
It recently closed a round of funding that will see efforts to expand into Europe, as well as investing into its product and scaling its marketing efforts. This funding represents efforts to move away from ‘heritage posh paints’ towards a new breed of socially conscious luxury paint.
