Our take

Companies such as OpenAI have paved the way for a new generation of AI technology, and shifted public perspective on how we interact with it. Colossyan is a company focused on video, rather than text or image generative AI, that can be used for training videos and content creation.

Colossyan generates videos from prompts, taking away the need for the expensive equipment, manpower and time required for video creation. Customers can input a script, with which Colossyan’s AI algorithms digitally generate performers called “avatars”. Although not suitable for all video needs, it is especially useful for presentations, documents, instruction videos, and marketing materials.

Colossyal, like many generative AI companies, has enjoyed significant funding in the last few years. Its most recent round of funding is being put towards extending its services across key global markets. DeepBrain and Heygen are among the swathe of competitors in the sector, but this lucrative investment should help Colossyal grow and maintain a lead over its rivals.
