Our take
Colvin operates an online flower shop and delivery service in Spain, focussing on providing a large selection of flower collections that are fresh with a long lifespan upon arrival. The company achieves this by sourcing its flowers from local farms and removing middlemen to reduce delivery times and increase freshness, allowing the company to stock flowers that they otherwise could not.
Whilst flower delivery services are nothing new, Colvin’s approach to tackling obvious yet unsolved obstacles in the industry such as delivery times and flower freshness is unique. The company has recently begun to stock additional plants to flowers, curate seasonal collections, provide a subscription service, and is in the process of expanding outside of Spain.
