Confer With's mission is to transform digital dialogue to be infinitely closer to the connection established in the physical world.

Confer With aims to make online buying as personal as an in-person experience. Its platform triggers live streaming video calls between shoppers and in-store experts from a website, or outside a store. Remote retail teams can then give consumers real-time advice on what products to buy as they would in-store.
The company was founded in 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic as a direct response to the introduction of social distancing measures, which resulted in the closure of many retail outlets, and a surge in online shopping. Confer With's customers already include leading brands such as Halfords, Pearson and Furniturebox.
Physical stores are traditionally more effective at converting customers (Confer With claims they convert at 20%-30%, versus 1-2% online), and so the platform aims to translate the human and personalised experience of brick and mortar shopping into an online model.
