Traditionally, agencies hold a certain level of control over creatives, reducing the level of control they have over the jobs they take on. To eradicate this issue, Contact is a platform that allows creatives to be booked directly.
The platform supports models and photographers, with other creative types being added regularly. Clients are charged a service fee on top of the creative fee (similar to how AirBnB operates) which goes to Contact, and the creative receives the full advertised fee. The company also vets clients and sets benchmarks to ensure fairness and consistency.
The platform currently offers 500+ creatives, and is used by large brands including Nike, Vogue, Burberry, Saint Laurent, and Ellesse. Contact has seen success through its radically alternative solution that disrupts the talent sphere, and if it can maintain this momentum it is likely to see further growth.
