Our take

eCommerce has exploded this decade and shows no sign of slowing down the next. However, despite the trillions of dollars exchanging hands between online retailers and suppliers, these supplier arrangements are largely orchestrated by the analogue ‘Electronic Data Interchange’ system.

Convictional is changing that with their Sales Enablement software that enables retailers to onboard suppliers in days, rather than months.

Crucially, the startup is supplier and process agnostic. That is, retailers can just as easily onboard drop-shippers as traditional suppliers while suppliers can choose from APIs or EDI templates to get onboarded onto retailer software quickly.

The company is hoping that seamless integrations with providers like Lightspeed will ensure that its product comes out ahead of other venture-backed competitors like Logicbroker.
