Countingup is a fintech startup aiming to simplify the life of sole traders by reinventing the business bank account - they believe that for one-person enterprises, business banking and accounting software should be merged so that bookkeeping and filing accounts can be automated.
Small businesses can open a Countingup business current account on their smartphone in just 5 minutes. The account comes with a UK sort code & account number and a contactless Mastercard. Business owners can also do their bookkeeping, view a profit and loss report, and attach receipts to expenses – all in one simple app. The ease of use Countingup provides has provided an attractive option for owners looking to simplify the accounting process.
The firm aims to become a market leader and the financial platform for a million small businesses. Recent funding has allowed Countingup to double its workforce and accelerate its product roadmap, which involves features like tax filing, financial services like card payment services and loans, and multi-currency payments.
