Our take

The construction industry is struggling to bring in more skilled workers, and the issue will only get more pressing as smart cities and energy transition plans become a reality. Crafthunt is pitting itself against this problem, with a platform that uses automation and AI to match construction workers with the jobs and companies that suit them best.

Crafthunt's approach includes leveraging its international scale to draw in talent from outside of its native Germany. It publishes information in 21 languages, ensuring that more people can access jobs through its portal and thus contributing to the closing of the worker gap.

The company already has 30,000 construction specialists on its platform, alongside 700 employers. Off the back of a seed funding round, Crafthunt is scaling up its user base and platform, opening up new markets in skilled labour recruitment. If it achieves its growth aims, it is well set to secure its already dominant position in this vital market.
