Company mission

To put the customer’s machine data to work.

Our take

Currently with offices in Austria, Germany, North America and Switzerland, the ever-expanding Crate.io has developed a database platform, CrateDB, which stores and retrieves structured and unstructured data regardless of the shape, an alternative to relational databases.

The global data analytics market is predicted to be valued at over $132B by 2026, and Crate.io is well positioned to grow in this period. Recent series A funding is being invested in the CrateDB ecosystem’s functionality and partner integration as well as the open source developer community around CrateDB.

Indeed, the company recently extended its database service to Google Cloud. This was the last of the ‘big three’ - Google Cloud, AWS and Microsoft Azure - to adopt its services. This integration essentially ensures that potential users don’t need to look very far to find the company’s database.
