To revolutionise heat stroke treatment.
Cryogenx launched Cryosuit as its first product, founded as an innovative product for addressing the growing problem of heatstroke. By 2030, 700 million people will be exposed to extreme heat - an increase in heat-related deaths of 257% due to climate change - with already thousands of deaths annually from heatstroke.
Cryosuit is aiming to help solve this problem. Its patent pending technology emulates the effectiveness of cold water immersion far more easily, using a powerful coolant stored in portable canisters. When injected into conductive pads, this results in sustained and instant cooling, in even the most challenging environments, to help save lives.
In contrast to the inaccessibility of ice baths when you need them most, Cryosuit aims to eliminate the logistical barriers encountered with current treatment. As it can be rapidly deployed, there is often no need for transportation to hospital before treatment.
Cryosuit has several markets where it can be used, from construction and fire service to agriculture, defence, and sports. It's particularly effective in any field where strenuous activity and extreme heat are combined. Because of its compact design, Cryosuit can be used in any situation, no matter how inhospitable the conditions.
