Our take

Curtsy is an online application that enables customers to buy and sell clothes in an active marketplace. While there are several similar services available, not least the popular eBay and Amazon Marketplace, Curtsy enables sellers to get paid in a matter of seconds. Sellers receive their earnings as soon as an item is scanned by the post office.

This solution is aimed at female consumers, with the business having been promoted as a way to borrow dresses from a neighbour. But it has since branched out into a wider operation, offering a whole range of different products, including a Shipping Kit to remove the friction from order fulfilment.
