Our take
CyraCom is a leading provider of interpretation and translation services, serving thousands of organizations across the US and worldwide. Operating since 1995, it stands out from its peers for two reasons - its secure Translation Portal, and its approach as an employer.
Traditionally, translation clients will email their files to a translator's individual computer, which represents a significant security risk. CyraCom instead operates its own portal, in which all editing and proofreading is completed. This way, the completed translation never leaves the portal and remains secure.
Further, industry practice has generally been to hire independent contractors to do the translation - who cannot be trained to a given standard and hence have varied skills. With CyraCom, translators are full employees which means they can receive initial and follow-up training, increasing the quality of the company's services.
With this unique approach, it is no wonder CyraCom has established such an impressive footprint. With a range of services from phone and video interpretation to documentation localization, it is likely to remain a key player in translation services into the future.
