To accelerate precision drug discovery by unlocking the power of collaboration to draw critical insights from omics data.
DNA is an invaluable resource for scientific research projects, but access to it is highly restricted. Data is collected by 'DNA banks' in large quantities, but there is no existing platform for researchers to access it.
DNANexus provides a cloud storage platform for DNA data that provides access and collaborative opportunities to governments, universities, doctors and pharmaceutical companies. In addition to storing this data to be accessed, the startup provides an open source machine learning approach to the analysis of DNA.
By providing an open platform of DNA storage and analysis tools for research facilities, DNAnexus aims to make the power of DNA accessible to all who would benefit from it. The company has invested substantial series H funding of $200 million to accelerate the global adoption of its technology
