To deliver comfort-empowered performance for women everyday, everywhere, by innovating apparel at the intersection of technical, eco-friendly fabrics, elegant tailoring and versatile, functional design for the modern professional woman.
Dai produces carbon neutral sustainable clothing, much of which is biodegradable or recycled. With the ethical fashion market already booming and expected to almost double over the next decade, competition is rife. Yet, the fact that Dai focuses on work wear for professional women sets it apart.
Fashion is one of the biggest polluters on earth – a fact that is propelling the rise of concepts like slow and circular fashion, as well as the second hand clothing market. There are plenty of brands claiming to be sustainable too, so the fact that Dai is a certified B Corp is huge.
The company predominantly operates online – a smart call in this day and age – but its first brick and mortar store opened in early 2022 after hosting several pop-ups throughout the last few years. Having a physical location like this can do no harm for the brand’s visibility and prestige.
The startup’s growth since its 2017 launch has been seriously impressive. With the continued growth of the conscious fashion market, Dai could be set for a successful future.
