Our take
DAME was founded to both tackle the billions of plastic period products that are thrown away every year, and the problem of brands selling discretion and shame alongside their products.
The company designs, manufacturers and sells organic and reusable period products. A certified B-Corporation, DAME launched the world’s first Reusable Tampon Applicator in 2018 as well as a range of toxin-free organic cotton tampons. Its efforts have saved over 20M plastic disposables from going to landfill.
