Company mission

To protect riders with technology that adapts to humans instead of the other way around.

Our take

Mobility tech company Damon is one of a handful of top competitors looking to break electric motorbikes into the mainstream. Damon’s flagship product is currently the HyperSport, a monocoque-constructed electric motorcycle combining machine learning, collision warning systems, and smart design to create a high-performance, safety-first electric motorbike. The $45M worth of pre-orders began shipping in just 2022, and its successor, the HyperFighter was released in 2023.

It’s a fruitful time to be in the electric vehicle market. Widespread adoption of electric cars and bicycles have pushed the dial of consumer habits in favor of these more sustainable alternatives. Add that to the significant spike in motorcyclists over recent years, and Damon have a lucrative field to play for.

They’re holding their own against fierce competitors like Harley Davidson and Honda in one of the most crucial areas for electric vehicles: engine range. Whilst current market leaders Zero and Harley have battery capacities around the 15/16kWh mark, Damon are claiming a top capacity of 20kWh - meaning they can travel further, and at remarkably high speeds. In combination with their safety focus and rapid technological developments, Damon is creating advanced and highly marketable products that align perfectly with growing consumer trends.
