Virtually every business, whether large or small, is under pressure to move to the cloud for a range of reasons, from better cost efficiency to security, to swifter deployment. However, this migration comes with a series of challenges – vendor-lock in, time, and data compliance chief among them.
Datometry solves these problems by allowing enterprises to completely replatform their data from on-premises to the cloud without having to change their SQL (Structured Query Language) or APIs. As well as this, by helping companies migrate to the cloud in one fell swoop, they’re able to escape the common pain point of vendor lock-in from on-premise database management companies.
Since its most recent fundraise, Datometry has had some major wins, gaining a number of high profile customers, particularly in Europe, where Lufthansa, Adeo (Europe's largest DIY Retailer), and The Co-op have all come on board. It’s also been adding to its executive team as well as steadily growing its staff headcount – something it looks set to continue for the foreseeable future.
