Deepgram is on a mission to become the human language company.
19% employee growth in 12 months
Despite voice recognition systems gaining in popularity in organizations, there is still a general lack of confidence in the accuracy of these systems. Further, the tech is underdeveloped, expensive, and slow to work. Deepgram is a technology startup developing an enterprise-focused automatic speech transcription and analysis platform with an aim to overturn these inefficiencies.
The company wants to ensure there is a deep learning model that allows companies to get faster and more accurate transcription, resulting in more reliable data sets. Deepgram’s platform enables enterprises to process meetings, calls, and presentations in real time, and is the most accurate option across many languages.
Deepgram is not the only player in this growing market, and will likely face pressure from legacy players like Google, Microsoft and Amazon, as well as rival startups such as Verbit and Voicera. That said, with customers like NASA and Spotify, as well as strong funding at its back, the company definitely has the potential for further growth as it looks to expand its reach in the coming years.
