The Project Economy is worth $20 trillion a year and brimming with flexible workers, on-demand talent and knowledge services. Yet, an astonishing 70% of projects fail, some so badly they threaten corporate existence. Used by both buyers and sellers of services, it is estimated the Statement of Work ("SoW") governs over 1 trillion dollars of business contracts across the world.

The SoW is easily one of the most important project management documents because it is made at the outset of a project, and outlines everything that needs to go into it. Using effective project planning tools and a thorough and well-written SoW will set you up to successfully lead a project over the finish line on schedule and within budget.

Deployed believes that SoWs are usually poorly written and often ignored; its product was created to transform the SoW content and process. The platform works to build trust, speed and clarity by producing optimised SoWs and is moving towards a completely automated process.
