Deputy’s scheduling, timesheet and time clock software allows businesses to more easily manage shift and contract workers. In the last few years, it’s become one of the biggest names in its market, having been founded in Sydney back in 2008.
This hypergrowth began after a USD $81 million injection in 2018 - the largest Australian Series B at the time - followed by a doubling in size within a year. It is now operating out of offices in the UK and US, as well as at home in Australia.
Deputy has helped over 330,000 businesses worldwide across 100 countries, with clients including Amazon, Google, and Uber and saw a rise of 7000 new customers in 2022. The company is focused on investing in its engineering and product to ensure it stays ahead in the market.

As a product-led company, Deputy pours a lot of its energy and resources into iterating the product to solve more customers' challenges. COVID is a great example, where Deputy was first to market with new product features that ensured safety in the workplace through touchless kiosks and health certifications pre-work.

Everyone has a voice in Deputy EMEA. As a growing business new processes and ways of working come up and everyone's opinion is taken into consideration when defining a process or making a decision. For instance, with the return to the office, everyone's had the chance to discuss how they would prefer to work whether it be remote, hybrid, or more fixed. This ultimately shaped us to have a hybrid way of working now.

I joined Deputy as an SDR/BDR, quickly learnt how to engage and interact with our customers and was exceeding targets. This was recognised by my manager, and shortly after was promoted to an AE role. Deputy really allows you to exceed in any role whether that's in Sales or something else, giving you the tools to do your job well and the constant support to help you improve.

Since my interview with Deputy, I cannot express enough how kind & supportive everyone is. I am learning a lot, and loving the culture! Everyone respects each other no matter what position you're in. I was able to clearly see the mission Deputy has & most of all how their customers are important to them which makes it very important to me! Employees' career progression is very important to them which is hard to find nowadays, you don't feel stuck, you're constantly learning & progressing if you're willing to :-)
