Our take
Many people and businesses have turned to producing professional live videos in recent years (examples include fitness instructors, teachers, chefs, coaches, and musicians), yet it remains difficult to make these videos high quality with current tools.
Detail is setting out to fix this problem with their virtual camera for Mac products. This makes it easier for creators to broadcast high-quality live video on Zoom, Meet, Twitch, Hopin, or YouTube Live. In doing so, they want to bring the power of a production studio without the price tag.
There is huge opportunity in the market, with 50 million creators making money through online content. Detail are early stage and have raised impressive funding, which they will use to invest in developing their product and building out their team.
