To build the worlds first social media app for music discovery - because music is meant to be shared.
These days, finding new music is no easy task. Despite having unparalleled access to millions of artists through mobile apps, the algorithms used by big-name players such as Spotify are notoriously repetitive, more often than not replaying the same songs users have heard rather than offering them anything new.
Disco is setting out to change this, with a social music discovery app that empowers users to discover new music directly from other listeners. Basically, it enables music-lovers to see and hear what others are listening to, and through this discover new music for themselves. The company is in its early stages, but its certainly an intriguing concept and we are eager to see how the app is received at launch.
