To redefine the state of play in the world of connected games.
61% employee growth in 12 months
The gaming industry is booming, and its increase in popularity is accompanied by a growing interest in first-time titles, as well as offerings from independent developers and game studios. Disruptive Games, one such studio, is working to integrate authentic experiences into its gameplay, to make more “human” experiences for cooperative and competitive play.
Disruptive Games, founded in 2008, has worked on big-name games such as Diablo II and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, developing services such as multi-player features and cross-platform utility. The company is now working with a focus on "multiplayer-first gaming experiences that immerse players in living worlds" – providing meaningful gameplay in an interactive and responsive setting – and will be delivering its first title of this kind through Amazon Games.
Disruptive Games is accelerating development to help build what it hopes will be an online experience that kindles creativity and positive social interactions, with only time able to tell whether they achieve this goal.
